Global Supply Chain Security Expert Boosts Third Party Audit & Risk Mapping Capabilities

I-OnAsia has named John E. to its Board of Advisors. John formerly worked with a big box retailer with thousands of vendors. Before retiring, John held senior global loss prevention and customs compliance roles.

John is a former retail executive with extensive overseas experience having led Loss Prevention teams in South Korea, Japan and China. John previously held the positions of Loss Prevention Vice President, Loss Prevention Country Director and Regional Loss Prevention Director. His responsibilities covered national, regional, and global operations.
As the Director of International Security & C-TPAT, John oversaw a team responsible for maintaining C-TPAT certification, supplier security certifications, audit development, 3rd party audit firms, exception follow up, unannounced spot check program, and security consulting on operations covering 28 countries.
Areas of expertise include physical security, investigations, supply chain security and retail Loss Prevention across stores, clubs, distribution centers and offices. Additionally, John has experience implementing several programs to include anti-corruption, executive protection, travel, workplace safety, and food safety.
John earned a bachelor of science in Political Science and Public Administration from James Madison University and holds a Master of Business Administration from Webster University.
